—As aperture counts rise and the requirement for more precise stencils increases, the need for verification of the stencil becomes more important. The problems with existing systems are either a lack of resolution or a lack of speed. We solved both problems by investing in the most advanced stencil AOI equipment.

All precision stencils are checked by means of an optical measuring microscope. With up to 60X magnification, sizes and geometries are measured accurate to ±0.25 mils (6 µm). Also, with a digital thickness measuring device, stencil and step thicknesses are checked with an accuracy of ± 0.1 mils (2.5 µm).
